I could tell you that I’ve always been a writer, and it would be true. But that’s also a bit cliche. As a rule, you’re drawn to things you find easy or enjoyable as a kid. For me, that was writing because it was the opposite of math, something I detested more than anything.
I should say, I followed my instinct with an open mind, and everything flowed from there. This epiphany about leading with curiosity is also the best formula for content. It starts with being open to possibilities and ends with connecting to your audience.
Great content is, in essence, giving value. It delivers information and builds trust. But let’s rewind. What if you could provide a solution to a need your consumers didn’t know they had? This is always my goal with content – to answer both known and unknown customer queries. The best way to do that is to do some digging and let curiosity be your guide.
